Electronic Air Purifiers: The Most Effective Clean Air Solutions Nowadays

In the increasingly more polluted world that we live in today, the idea of breathing only clean and purified air has taken on an added significance because the number of pollutants entering our homes and even outdoors has increased dramatically. So it is not surprising to learn that electronic air purifiers are one of the better options among the increasing numbers of different air purification solutions.
Unique Technology
To be sure, electronic air purifiers work differently from other air purifiers and they have a unique technology that helps to eliminate impurities from the air that we breathe. In fact, electronic air purifiers are a good option that can prove to be more effective than the more popular and well-known HEPA filter purifiers or the ozone purifiers that are often used today.
As a matter of fact, using electronic air purifiers rather than HEPA filter purifiers is recommended since the latter are not able to remove odors or fumes and the ozone purifiers are ineffective against particulate substances. Electronic air purifiers, on the other hand, are able to handle all these pollutants and more. They are very effective in absorbing contaminants from polluted air that is inside homes and thus a wonderful solution.
To be sure, the idea of developing electronic air purifiers was first introduced by Fredrick G. Cottrell who out of necessity developed a means to control polluted air. His basic solution was to charge whatever smog particles were present in the air and then attract them by using oppositely charged magnets, then finally expelling them from the air by making these particles stick to a medium that had an opposite charge.
Living in America today is not what it once was, and though Americans take for granted that they have it very good, the sad truth is that things such as breathing clean air have become a cause for concern and thus the need to purchase items such as fresh air purifiers has assumed added importance.
Today, modern electronic air purifiers however still use this same principal and in fact they also place charges in the air that pass through the purifiers and an opposite charge is placed on a medium such as metal plates that then collect the smog filled particles and do not allow them to reenter the air. It is this ability that makes electronic air purifiers stand out from other solutions and the effectiveness is greater because the charged particles tend to stick easily to the metal plates and thus are a better solution as compared to using absorption methods.
What's more, how effective different electronic air purifiers turn out to be depends on how big the collection plates are, the volume of air entering the unit as well as electric field intensity. Most importantly electronic air purifiers require minimal maintenance and thus are an excellent value for money.
